Spring is a time of new beginnings. The same is true for us at Karpatská Perla winery. This is when new “Perlas” come to life – wines from the 2025 vintage that have gradually matured into their final expression. We are delighted to introduce them to you.
The 2025 vintage reflects the terroir of the Малokarpatská wine-growing region – its natural diversity, our vineyards, and the work in the vineyard that always follows nature. Each vineyard has its own character.
Our spring releases come from the “Vištuk” vineyard Nad Polankou with loess soil, from the Modra vineyard Kalvária with granite mineral subsoil, and from the Suchý vrch vineyard with clay-loess soil. Each of these sites brings something different to the wine – lightness, freshness, or structure. The story the vineyard gives to the grapes is naturally carried through into the wine. Because pearls are born in the vineyard.

So what are the spring releases from Karpatská Perla?
Blaufränkisch Rosé 2025, ORGANIC
Our rosé Blaufränkisch 2025 comes from the young Nad Polankou vineyard. It has a natural lightness and fruity character, expressed in a delicate salmon colour, aromas of wild strawberries, and a juicy palate. The wine feels fresh and clean, with a pleasant sense of balance.
Frizzante Riesling 2025
This wine is made from grapes sourced from several of our vineyards, reflecting the diversity of the Малokarpatská region. It is fresh, gently sparkling, and well-balanced, with natural fruitiness and an easy, approachable style.
Riesling 2025, ORGANIC
This Rhein Riesling from our “Pearls are born in the vineyard” range comes from the Modra vineyard Kalvária. It is defined by freshness and fine minerality typical of this site. In this vintage, it offers a citrus profile, purity, and a precise varietal expression shaped by the vineyard conditions.
Sauvignon Blanc 2025, ORGANIC
Our Sauvignon from Suchý vrch is introduced for the first time with a screw cap in the “Pearls are born in the vineyard” range. We made this choice to highlight its youthfulness, freshness, and natural potential, which is best expressed at a younger stage.
Suchý vrch gives the Sauvignon its structure and character. The wine shows aromas of vineyard peach, freshness, and a clean varietal profile typical of this site.
Grüner Veltliner 2025
This Grüner Veltliner from the “Pearls are born in the vineyard” range represents a typical Малokarpatská style, expressing a harmonious picture of our wine-growing region. It combines freshness, gentle fruitiness, and balance.
Devín 2025, ORGANIC
Once again, a semi-dry Devín in our characteristic Perla style, offering a pleasant aromatic profile with notes of exotic fruit, lychee, and muscat. But this Devín is different. For the first time, it comes from the Modra vineyard Kalvária, planted on granite subsoil. This new site gives it added freshness and a more pronounced expression.
Pinot Gris 2025, ORGANIC
Pinot Gris from Suchý vrch has a fuller body balanced by elegance. Both aroma and palate reveal notes of yellow fruit and pear, reflecting the ripeness of the grapes from this site.
Dunaj 2024, ORGANIC
The final addition to our spring selection is the red wine Dunaj 2024. Although it does not come from the current vintage, it naturally complements our new releases. It is a young, well-developed Dunaj that deserves attention.
It comes from the Nad Polankou vineyard, where it gains its deeper colour, fruity aromatics, and velvety structure. Its character is shaped not only by the vineyard conditions, but also by the work in the vineyard.
