KARPATSKÁ PERLA in the Slovak national collection of wine 2010
In the Slovak national collection of wine 2010 KARPATSKA PERLA is going to have 5 wines. The ranking was realized on the 28th and 29th of June. These 5 wines are: JAGNET Muller-Thurgau 2009, VARIETO Frankovka modrá 2008, late harvest, VARIETO Alibernet 2007, late harvest, VARIETO Cabernet Sauvignon 2007, late harvest and 4 ŽIVLY (4 ELEMENTS) 2008, white.
In June we have extented our offer by two wines JAGNET in 0,25 l bottles. We have chosen from the JAGNET wine collection Veltlínske zelené 2009 and Frankovka modrá 2008. In a very short time some of the bottles have travelled till the Triglav mountain in Southern Alps in Slovenia (2500 m absolute altitude).
In June we are bringing you a long awaited wines 4 ŽIVLY (4 ELEMENTS) 2008, white and 4 ŽIVLY (4 ELEMENTS) 2007, red into your offer. These wines are made from the connection of the best wines from our vineyards. We gave them longer time for aging so our costumers get the best possible quality. We have put all of our knowledge and skills into this masterpieces.
Muvina Prešov 2010 = 4 x Gold medal for KARPATSKÁ PERLA
Between the 16th and 18th of June an international wine competition called Muvina Prešov 2010 took place in Prešov. In the competition of 500 wines from all over the world our wines gained 4 gold medals with 4 Živly (4 ELEMENTS) 2008, white, VARIETO Chardonnay 2009, grape selection, DÍLEMÚRE Devín 2007, raisin selection and JAGNET Veltlínske zelené 2009.
On the 7th and 8th of May 2010 Wine market was organized in Valtice. On this mayor wine competition in Czech Republic our company has been once again successful. VARIETO Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, rosé, late harvest and 4 Živly 2008 - white wine, cuveé, late harvest made it into the best rated wines cathegory. We have gained silver medals for our VARIETO André 2009, late harvest and VARIETO Alibernet 2007, late harvest. Winner of the white wines whit sugar content over 45 g/l cathegory and Great gold medal winner was DÍLEMÚRE Pálava 2008, straw wine.
KARPATSKÁ PERLA (the CARPATHIAN PEARL) has been once again successful in world wine competition. In italian Verona on wine exhibition called VINITALY 2010, VARIETO Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, late harvest, rosé has gained GRAN MENZIONE title. This title is given to the best wines in each cathegory. More than 3500 wines have participated in this competition. Our new rose will be available in May.
4 x Gold medal on Wine market Pezinok 2010
On 26th and 27th of march wine judgement took place on competition Wine market Pezinok 2010. Our wines gained 4 gold and 2 silver medals. Great gold medal was gained by our ice harvest Rirzling rýnsky 2008. Gold medals were given to VARIETO Alibernet 2007, late harvest, VARIETO Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, rosé and DÍLEMÚRE Pálava 2008, straw wine. Public wine tasting will be hold on 23rd and 24th of april 2010.
Nice wine with overview and watchtower run
One day before the first sping day on saturday 20th of march 2010 the second annual of our own event called Nice wine with overview took place in our company in Šenkvice. Our visitors had the opportunity to taste wines in our cellar or take part in watchtower run compatition. During the wine tasting the most successful wines were: white cuvée 4 živly 2008, Sauvignon 2009, Cabernet Sauvignon rosé 2009 and red cuvée 4 živly 2007.
4 x Gold medal at VITIS AUREA Modra 2010
On saturday 27th of march 10th anniversary of wine exhibition VITIS AUREA took place in Modra. On this prestigious slovak event our winery KARPATSKÁ PERLA in compatition of 500 wines won 4 gold and 4 silver medals. Thanks to this we have also won an award for the Best wine collection from the Small carpathian region. Our awarded wines are:
Gold medal winning Muškát moravský at BACCHUS MADRID 2010
From 12th to 16th of mach an international wine compatition called BACCHUS MADRID 2010 took place in Madrid. We happily announce that our JAGNET Muškát moravský 2009 was rewarded with gold medal. This wine comes from Suchý vrch vineyard and is in our offer from february.
Award for the best CORPORATE IDENTITY
In addition of wine exhibition VINUM SUPERBUM 2010 our company THE CARPATHIAN PEARL gained Slovak architects organization award for the best " CORPORATE IDENTITY". This award was awarded in Slovakia for the first time. The jury was composed fromarchitcts, designers, artists and media representatives. Their judgement was based on administrative building architecture, wine tasting rooms architecture and grafic design of wine collections.
In the begining of march Vinalies Internationales 2010 took place in Paris. In competition of 3000 wines from all over the world our first ever straw wine DÍLEMÚRE Pálava 2008 gained silver medal. It was made of grapes from Suchý vrch vineyard. They were dried for more than three mounths and were squeezed in february 2009 whit cider sugar content of 45 º NM.
In the february there are many wine competitions are organized every year. On the 5th annual of the prestigious Czech - slovak wine league our VARIETO Alibernet 2007, late harvest finished on third place in red wine cathegory. This wine also managed to be the best rated red wine in slovak wine competition named VINUM SUPERBUM 2010, which is organized by the state veterinary and agrigultural corps. Gold medal was given to DÍLEMÚRE Devín 2007, raisin selction, which is going to be in our offer in march.
KARPATSKÁ PERLA (THE CARPATHIAN PEARL) ON ITF SLOVAKIATOUR
Between 21st and 24th of january 2010 our wines are gonig to be presented on ITF SLOVAKIATOUR and DANUBIUS GASTRO trade fair in Incheba in Bratislava. You can find us in Slovakian grape producers federation´s booth in hall D, stand number 300.
In year 2010 colour will be changed on our JAGNET label. JAGNET Müller-Thurgau wine will be bright green in colour on the lower part of the label and JAGNET Veltlínske zelené will change into dark green colour. We believe, that new label will help you with your selection of JAGNET varietal wine.
New book - 100 najlepších slovenkých vín 2009 - The 100 best slovak wine
On the end of the year a book will be published from prof. Ing. Fedor Malík, DrSc., titled 100 najlepších slovenských vín - The 100 best slovak wine. For the first time just dry and semi-dry wines are judged in the book, from the production of 40 wine producers. We would like to emphasize, that the champion of the slovak top 100 wine is VARIETO Rulandské šedé 2008, grape selection. In this book another 7 wines from our production can be find. All of these wines are in our current offer.
On the 20th and the 21st of november our company, based in Šenkvice was opened within an event called Day of opened cellars on the Small carpatian wine route. We are grateful for your visit and we are looking forward for spring.
From the 10th of november we have in our offer new wine from the 2009 vintage. It is Muller-Thurgau from the Modra vineyard region, vineyard Nad Polankou.
Between 15.-17. oktober of 2009 in Bergam in Italy 5th annual of international compatition "Emotions from the World: Merlot and Cabernet Together" took place. In the compatitionfrom 16 states we gained gold medal for our VARIETO Cabernet Sauvignon 2006, grape selection. This wine also gained the prestigious journalist award.
On the biggest international wine competition AWC Vienna over 9000 wines participated this year. Our company was represented by two wines. VARIETO Rizling vlašský 2008, late harvest gained gold medal and silver medal was given to our red wine 4 Živly 2007.
On the 13th of august 2009 the 4th annual International festival of Frankovka modrá took place in Bratislava-Rača. In the main cathegory of dry red wines our VARIETO Frankovka modrá 2007, late harvest became the champion. The public degustation will be hold between 11.-13. of september 2009 during the winefest in Rača.
Screwed closer on the wines from Jagnet collection
This modern type of closer has been in use since the 90-ties. Its unique properties has inspired wine producers mainly from New Zealand and Australia, from where it has expanded all over the world. We are glad, that our company is one of the first in Slovakia, that is protecting the quality of our varietal wines from JAGNET collection with the Alvin type of closer.
The wines from JAGNET are typical with fruity tones, primary varietal aromas and fresh delicious flavour. The white varieties are always offered first from the current vintage, the red varieties are offered later. With Alvin type of closer the quality of our wines is conserved for longer time and in better conditions.
The advatages using the screwed closer:
Higher sustainment of wine quality and its character
Simple opening and closing of the bottle
No cork flavour is present
From 14. - 17. April 2009 wine markets in Valtice, Czech republic, took place. In this significant event only three medals are given to the highest appriciated wines of every variety. Our VARIETO Frankovka modrá 2007, late harvest gained bronze medal, VARIETO Sauvignon 2008, late harvest won silver medal. But the most successful was VARIETO Chardonnay 2008, grape selection, which gained the Great gold medal. It was decorated with the award of the Highest appreciated wine from abroad. At the beginning of April an international wine competition Premios Zarcillo 2009 in Valladolide in Spain has taken place. Among 3099 wines from 23 countries also three of our wines impressed. Varieto Sauvignon 2008, late harvest and Varieto Chardonnay 2008, grape selection gained silver medals and DÍLEMÚRE Tramín červený 2007, raisin selection - gold medal.
Alibernet 2007 has won gold medal in Greece
VARIETO Alibernet 2007, late harvest has represented our vinery in Greece. In the THESSALONIKI INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION 2009 this wine won the gold medal. The results, obtained by this wine made us proud, because at the competition there were also red wines from Greece, Spain and France.
On the international wine compatition Vinalies internationales Paris 2009, which was held between 27.2. - 3.3.2009 KARPATSKA PERLA s.r.o. (the CARPATHIAN PEARL) participiated. Silver medal for DÍLEMÚRE Tramín červený 2007, raisin selection is a pleasant suprise...
KARPATSKÁ PERLA, s.r.o. (the CARPATHIAN PEARL) has participated on ITF SLOVAKIATOUR 2009
On 22nd of january 2009 our wine presentation took place on ITF SLOVAKIATOUR 2009, which is the biggest trade fair of its kind in Slovakia. We are thankfull to those, who came and tasted our wines. For those, who couldn´t made it here are some photos.
On the first day of july vernissage took place in Paris, which was dedicated to national artist Ignác Bizmayer.
